    Day 1: Airport Pick-up<\/span><\/i><\/div>

    Your drivers\/guides will be waiting for you at the airport in order to transfer you, your bike and\u00a0 luggage to your hotel in Entebbe. In the afternoon\/early evening you will have a meet and greet with guide and driver, briefing and bicycle set-up.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

    Day 2: Transfer to fort Portal<\/span><\/i><\/div>

    After breakfast, we\u2019ll\u00a0 transfer for\u00a0 5-6 hours to Fort Portal. Enjoy sights of tea-growing plantations in this area which sits under the majestic Rwenzori Mountains. After lunch we will test the bikes on a 25km ride through small villages and the countryside. We will have a break at one of Uganda\u2019s most beautiful crater lake.<\/span><\/p>

    Day 3: Crater Lakes<\/span><\/i><\/div>

    Start the day with breakfast and thereafter have a 62km (possible shorter route of 35km) trip in Uganda\u2019s central location of crater lakes. Enjoy the magnificent sceneries of the crater lakes. Enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the crater lakes.After lunch we\u2019ll proceed to the main road where we shall load up our bikes onto the van.\u00a0 We\u2019ll drive for close to 2 hours to the border of Queen Elizabeth National Park. We;ll stop at the equator stop for a photo before heading to our lodge for the night.<\/span><\/p>

    Day 4: Game drive in Queen Elizabeth NP \/optional relaxation day<\/span><\/i><\/div>

    After breakfast, enjoy a game drive in one of Uganda\u2019s beautiful parks. Enjoy a game drive in the morning which will give you a good chance of viewing elephants, buffalo, antelopes, pride of lions, or maybe even the elusive leopard. Return to the lodge for lunch and thereafter head out for\u00a0 a boat safari on Kazinga Channel, which attracts a varied range of animals and birds, with one of the world\u2019s largest concentrations of hippos.<\/span><\/p>

    Day 05: Ride through Queen Elizabeth National Park<\/span><\/i><\/div>

    Awaen in time for breakfast to start an exciting day as we cycle 78km (shorter route is 45km with car drive) directly through the heart of Queen Elizabeth National Park, home to 95 mammal species and over 500 bird species. We\u2019ll\u00a0 ride on a flat, wide gravel road through the savannah and have the chance to see wild animals such as buffaloes, elephants, antelopes and maybe even the famous tree-climbing lions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

    Check in to your lodge in time for dinner and overnight.<\/span><\/p>

    Day 6: Ride to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest<\/span><\/i><\/div>

    Start your day early as we ride to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Expect a challenging ride with just under 1,000 m of ascending ahead of us. Bwindi, which is considered the world\u2019s capital of gorilla tracking, our destination Buhoma lies at 1,500 metres above sea level. We\u2019ll arrive in time to relax as we prepare for the next day’s activity.<\/span><\/p>

    Day 7: Monkey trail<\/span><\/i><\/div>

    Start early again to enjoy another challenging day 60km (shorter route 45km) climbing, ranging from singletrack through rural areas to wide dirt roads straight through the rainforest. We\u2019ll ride to Ruhija, another part of Bwindi where we shall spend the night.<\/span><\/p>

    Day 8: Gorilla Trekking<\/span><\/i><\/div>

    After breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for the briefing about gorilla trekking rules and regulation. Follow the rangers into the jungle for gorilla trekking. This could take 2 -4 hours\u00a0 depending on the movement of the gorillas. Afterwards, return to the start point of the trek then proceed to the lodge for dinner and overnight with relaxation in the evening. Dinner and overnight.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>

    Day 9: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi<\/span><\/i><\/div>

    We will cycle 35km straight through Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in order to reach Lake Bunyonyi. Enjoy beautiful sights of the terraced fields where the community grows a variety of crops.We\u2019ll also look out for island-dotted Lake Bunyonyi views in the distance. Bunyonyi means \u201cthe place of little birds\u201d the lake is believed to be Africa\u2019s second deepest and has 29 islands of all shapes and sizes. We will have lunch on the shore of the lake where we will stay the night.<\/p>

    Day 10: Scenic ride along the shore of Lake Bunyonyi<\/span><\/i><\/div>

    With its breathtaking panoramic views Lake Bunyonyi is arguably Uganda\u2019s most beautiful lake. Cycling in this part of the country is\u00a0 a treat. However, it doesn’t mean it will be an easy ride. The short and steep hills bordering the lake will make a 55-kilometer ride a challenging one.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

    Day 11: Drive to Lake Mburo National Park<\/span><\/i><\/div>

    We will leave after breakfast in order to digest some few good kilometres in order to reach Lake Mburo National Park. We will have lunch at Igongo Cultural Center, which promotes the cultural heritage of south-west Uganda, particularly the Ankole. Proceed to Lake Mburo where we\u2019ll spend the night.Have dinner and an overnight stay.<\/span><\/p>

    You can opt for a night safari drive where you\u2019ll search for the elusive leopard.<\/span><\/p>

    Day 12: Riding with the zebras<\/span><\/i><\/div>

    Wake in time for breakfast,\u00a0 thereafter we\u2019ll ride between 25-50 km along the borders of the park. Expect to encounter zebras, antelopes and buffaloes on the road! In the afternoon we\u2019ll drive for a 3-hour transfer to Mabamba swamp. Again, we\u2019ll cross the equator where we shall make a photo stop before proceeding to our destination.<\/span><\/p>

    Day 13: Search for Shoebill<\/span><\/i><\/div>

    Mabamba swamp is the most popular birding site in Uganda to observe the rare Shoebill stork, which is the most sought-after bird in Uganda. The 25 square kilometre large and extensive\u00a0 wetland is located along the northern shores of Lake Victoria, near Entebbe town. The marsh stretches through a narrow and long bay that is fringed with papyrus towards the main body of Lake Victoria. After exploring Mabamba swamp by boat as an optional activity and a well-deserved lunch it\u2019s time to cycle back to Entebbe. During this 20 kilometer ride we will cross the world’s second largest lake: Lake Victoria.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

    Day 14: Departure from Entebbe<\/span><\/i><\/div>

    Depending on when your flight leaves you can do some sightseeing in Entebbe. Walk on the beaches of Lake Victoria or visit the zoo or botanical garden in one of the greenest and most peaceful cities of Uganda.
