    Day 1: Drive to Fort Portal <\/span><\/i><\/div>

    Awaken early to start on your 6 -7 hour drive to the beautiful town of Fort Portal. You will arrive in the late afternoon hours and settle in at the lodge for the night\u2019s stay.

    Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth<\/span><\/i><\/div>

    Enjoy Chimpanzee trekking on this day. You could spend 2 \u2013 4 hours in search of these fascinating cousins of ours. Once found, spend an hour After transfer to Queen Elizabeth arriving in time for an evening game drive. Look out for antelopes, buffalos, elephants, lions and with luck even the leopard can be seen.<\/p>

    Day 3: Drive via Ishasha sector to Bwindi<\/span><\/i><\/div>

    Impenetrable Forest
    After breakfast, depart for Bwindi going through the Ishasha sector famous for tree climbing lions. Search for these big cats for a few hours before proceeding to Bwindi Forest.<\/p>

    Day 4: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi<\/span><\/i><\/div>

    On this 5 Days Gorilla Trekking & Chimpanzee trekking Safari, we\u2019ll trek in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to the biggest number of mountain gorillas among all national parks. We\u2019ll head to the park office before 08:00am for a briefing before heading to the depth of the jungle for what is a most unique wilderness experience. Thereafter, the rangers will walk you down the narrow forest paths through thick undergrowth. Once found, the rangers will brief us through the dos and don\u2019ts before making any contact with the mountain gorillas.<\/p>

    We\u2019ll spend up to 1 hour watching the gorillas in their natural habitat. We\u2019ll get in proximity with the gorillas as you quietly observe them play, eat, forage, groom, sleep and sometimes watch them mate. This once in a lifetime experience will give us insights of the life of these gorillas and social dynamics of the gorilla families. Gorilla watching also gives us a chance to observe the sticking similarities between the apes with humans inhabit and social norms. Watch out for the juveniles who are always excited about our presence.<\/p>

    After trekking, we’ll break for lunch in the forest before embarking on the hike back to the starting point.
    After a long day\u2019s trek, embark on a journey to the rejuvenating Islands of Lake Bunyonyi. Enjoy dinner at the lakeside as you unwind by the lake shores at the lodge.

    Day 5: Lake Bunyonyi<\/span><\/i><\/div>

    Spend the morning at your leisure. In the afternoon, we will start our excursion to Joshua\u2019s Island where we are in for a treat and a feel of the local life in Lake Bunyonyi. Learn to make a Rolex and see how traditional millet beer is made as you hang out at local bars and in a homestead. Option of hiking, quad biking and swimming in the lake are also on offer.

    Day 6: Drive back to Entebbe<\/span><\/i><\/div>
