5 Day Queen Elizabeth & Gorilla Trekking Uganda Safari

Day 1

Flight Transfer to Kasese Airstrip - Queen Elizabeth NP

Depart on your 12:00 PM flight to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Your guides will be waiting for you at Kasese Airstrip to transfer you to Mweya Safari Lodge. Arrive and settle in for lunch before heading out for an evening game drive. Return to the lodge in time for dinner.

Day 2

Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat cruise on Kazinga Channel

Start the day with an early breakfast, followed by a morning game drive through the savannah grasslands of the park. On this game drive, look out for elephants, lions, buffaloes, kobs, warthogs, waterbucks and other small mammals. We'll see the beautiful Rwenzori ranges and the crater lake dotted landscapes of the park on this game drive. Break for lunch at the Mweya Peninsula also known as “the beautiful place”. After lunch, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel. Enjoy the beautiful sights along the lake shores teeming with "loser “buffalo herds, hippos and crocodiles as well as numerous birds including pink backed pelicans, plovers, Kingfishers and many other bird species that reside in this avian paradise.

Day 3

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Via Ishasha Tree climbing territory

After breakfast, drive through the ishasha sector where we’ll stop for lunch. After a picnic lunch we’ll start a search for the famous tree climbing lions. Proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest where you arrive in the late afternoon. Unwind in the peaceful forest side lodge as you prepare for the action filled day of gorilla trekking.

Day 4

Transfer to lake Bunyonyi

After a leisurely breakfast embark on a scenic 2 hour drive to Lake Bunyonyi, one of Uganda’s best kept secrets. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch by our beautiful lodge overlooking what is arguably one of Uganda’s most beautiful destinations. Spend the rest of the day enjoying the sights as we await the treat of glorious sunsets over the lake.

Day 5

Flight Transfer to Entebbe

After breakfast, transfer back to Kisoro where you’ll board for your transfer flight back to Entebbe. You’ll arrive in the mid-morning hours in time to rest a bit as you wait for your flight to your next destination.
