Day to day itinerary details
Depart Entebbe after breakfast and travel southwest towards Lake Mburo National Park, stopping at the Equator for photographs. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of zebras, giraffes, impalas, buffaloes and other wildlife. Meals: Lunch & Dinner
Begin the morning with an optional guided walking safari, offering a unique opportunity to experience the African bush on foot. After breakfast, continue through Uganda's scenic southwestern highlands towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Arrive at your lodge in the Rushaga sector for an evening of relaxation.
After a very early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before entering the rainforest with experienced guides, trackers and researchers. Once the gorillas are located, spend up to four extraordinary hours observing their behaviour, social interactions and daily routines as they become accustomed to human presence. Return to your lodge for a well-deserved rest and a relaxing evening overlooking the forest. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before transferring to Kisoro Airstrip for your scheduled domestic flight to Entebbe International Airport. Take in breathtaking aerial views of Uganda's mountainous southwestern landscapes as you fly back to Entebbe, where you will connect with your onward international flight. End of safari.
