Located in northeastern Uganda near the borders of Kenya and South Sudan, Kidepo Valley National Park is one of Africa’s most remote and spectacular wilderness areas. Known for its rugged mountains, vast savannah plains, and breathtaking landscapes, Kidepo offers an authentic safari experience away from the crowds.
The park is famous for its exceptional wildlife diversity, including four of the Big Five, large herds of buffalo, lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and several species found nowhere else in Uganda. The dramatic Narus Valley and Kidepo Valley provide excellent game viewing, especially during the dry season when animals gather around water sources.
Visitors can enjoy game drives, nature walks, birdwatching, and cultural visits with the local Karamojong communities.
