Located in southwestern Uganda, Lake Mburo National Park is a beautiful savannah park known for its diverse landscapes, rich wildlife, and unique safari experiences. The park is Uganda’s closest national park to Kampala and Entebbe, making it an ideal stopover destination for travellers exploring western Uganda.
Lake Mburo is famous for its large populations of zebra, impala, giraffe, eland, and buffalo, as well as being the only Ugandan national park where visitors can enjoy walking safaris and horseback safaris. The park’s lakes, wetlands, acacia woodlands, and rolling hills provide a perfect habitat for wildlife and over 300 bird species.
