when should i visit ?
Best Times to Visit Rwanda
Rwanda is a year-round destination, but the two dry seasons — June to September and December to February — are the best time to visit, offering firmer trails for gorilla and chimpanzee trekking, easier hiking and clearer forest views. The long dry season is the most popular, so permits and top lodges should be booked well in advance. The wetter months (March to May and October to November) bring lush green landscapes, fewer visitors and superb birding, though trails can be muddy. Because gorilla families are tracked daily all year, trekking is possible in any season — pack a waterproof jacket whatever the month, as the mountain forests can see rain at any time.
