Upon arrival at Maun airport, your driver/guide will be waiting at the airport to welcome you. He will also brief you about the cultures and norms of the Botswana cultures & Traditions. Thereafter, we’ll transfer you to the hotel for the night.

After breakfast, we’ll begin your Botswana safari with a short transfer flight to the Savute airstrip where you will be collected and taken to the glamourous Savute Under Canvas, a signature elevated camp.

Your first day will begin with an afternoon game drive in this close-to-nature area. Look out for valiant lions who have been known to hunt elephants in this region. Meet your first pack of African wild dogs and observe peaceful game and the rare red lechwe. The serene Savute channel cuts through this area, bringing wildlife from all over to the banks of this pristine body of water.
For the next two days you’ll be treated to a personalised safari experience, where professional guides will accompany you on private game drives. Spend as much time as you want tracking animals and learning about the region.

After an intense day of exploring the wildlife of the Savute region, you’ll board another short flight to the Okavango Delta. Among the activities you’ll enjoy on these two days days are two guided game drives with passionate local guides who have vast knowledge about the area. On these drives, look out for the African serval, chetahs, leopard, sitatungas among others.
On the water you will be able to relax and unwind on a mokoro excursion on the placid waters of the Okavango Delta. Enjoy sights of the crocodiles and some birds like the African fish eagle, Pel’s fishing owl, wattled crane among others as you cruise on a powerboat through the wetlands too. A helicopter flight can also be arranged at an additional cost, where you’ll be able to experience a bird’s eye view of this world wonder. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After a leisurely breakfast, fly to a different part of the delta. Arrive and enjoy a refreshing plunge pool in addition to the lodge amenities. Although not as populated with wildlife as your previous destinations, you will still indulge in exploratory game drives and mokoro rides to observe smaller but equally as important birds and other game. Look out for elephants aplenty and stalking lions.
If you didn’t indulge in a sensory massage at the Nxabega Tented Camp, you’ll still can do so on your last few days.
Seasonal activities include tiger fishing (a must-do experience), powerboat rides (depending on the water levels in the delta) and the option of taking a horseback safari through the wilderness (at an additional cost).

You will have time for a morning activity before a short flight to your new camp in Moremi Game Reserve, located in the north-eastern section of the Okavango Delta, where you will spend the next 2 nights. This Okavango Delta bush camp is situated on the edge of the permanent Delta and the sands of the Kalahari Desert.

This unique feature provides one of the best game viewing experiences in Botswana in one of the most beautiful parts of Africa. You will explore the area on game drives and boat cruises with a knowledgeable guide showing you unique features of the area.

After a morning activity and breakfast, you will head to the airstrip for your charter flight back to Maun in time where you will either take a return flight home.
