On arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide from Buutu Safaris who will assist you at the airport before driving you to your hotel.
Your guide will brief you about the diverse Kenyan culture and hospitality on your first day/night. We’ll spend the night in Nairobi.

After an early breakfast, we’ll drive for about 3-4 hours to Amboseli National Park. This park is best known for excellent sightings of elephant in the big marshy area and the spectacular view of Mount Kilimanjaro. Look out for the perfect sight of a massive herd of big-tusked elephants set against the backdrop of Mt Kilimanjaro. On this 11 day best of Kenya safari, we’ll have game drives, guided walks, and cultural encounters.
We’ll spend 2 nights in this park.

After breakfast we’ll transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Meru National Park. Enjoy the sights of the unspoilt and rugged landscape of Meru. Upon arrival, head to the lodge for check-in and lunch. Afterwards, enjoy game drives and safari walks. We’ll spend 2 nights here.

After breakfast you will be driven to the airstrip where your flight will be waiting to take you to Samburu, Sasaab Camp. Upon arrival, your guide will take you to the lodge for check in and lunch. Thereafter, enjoy an evening game drive as you search for the huge and majestic elephant, lion, leopard, and cheetah. More to the search list is the ‘special five’ which include the Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Gerenuk antelope and Somali ostrich.
On the next day, visit a Samburu community and learn about their way of life and culture. Return to the lodge for relaxation as you unwind.

After breakfast, we’ll transfer you to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to the iconic Masai Mara National Reserve.Upon arrival, head to your lodge for lunch and thereafter, prepare for an utterly enchanted game drive in the Savannah grasslands of the Mara. Look out for big game such as the prides of lions, elephants, buffalos, wildebeests, zebras, Masai giraffes among others.
On day 2, explore more of this park on two game drives, one in the morning and the other in the evening. We’ll have to go with packed lunch boxes on this day.
Alternatively, you can opt to visit the Masai villages in the evening instead.

Awaken in time for leisurely delicious breakfast, then be transferred to the airstrip for your light aircraft flight to Wilson Airport.
On arrival at the airport, you will be met by a Buutu Safaris representative who will drive you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight.
