Itinerary
Upon pick up from Entebbe, embark on the 5/6 hour drive to the Kibale Forest via the beautiful city of Fort Portal where we’ll arrive in time for lunch and settle into the lodge. We’ll have an option to visit the crater lakes of the area or Bigodi Swamp depending on the weather.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Meals: Lunch & Dinner
Start with an early breakfast, then meet your ranger guide at 8:00 am ready to enter the forest . Afterwards, walk down the forest paths with a tracker/ranger in search of these chimpanzees.
Once found, enjoy up to one hour watching the chimpanzees. This experience will afford you the chance to watch the chimpanzees do their daily business of feeding, copulating, among other activities in their natural habitat. After a long day’s adventure, return to the lodge for the night’s stay.

Arise for a hearty breakfast and then embark on a 3 hour drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will arrive in time for your lunch. Afterwards, enjoy a siesta before embarking on the evening game drive through the savannah grasslands of the park. Enjoy the search for the big cats like the lions and leopards during the sunset hours.
After an event filled day, return to the lodge for the night’s stay.

After breakfast, we’ll transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Arrive in the late afternoon hours of the day. Unwind in the peaceful forest side lodge as you prepare for the action filled day of gorilla trekking.

After breakfast, we’ll head to the park office for a briefing before heading to the depth of the jungle for what is a most unique wilderness experience. Thereafter, the rangers will walk you down the narrow forest paths through thick undergrowth. Once found, the rangers will brief us through the dos and don’ts before making any contact with the mountain gorillas. We’ll spend up to 1 hour watching the gorillas in their natural habitat. We’ll get in proximity with the gorillas as you quietly observe them play, eat, forage, groom, sleep and sometimes watch them mate. After trekking, we’ll break for lunch in the forest before embarking on the hike back to the starting point. After a long day’s trek, return to the lodge.

After a leisurely breakfast, transfer to Kisoro. Arrive in time for lunch and afterwards enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

After breakfast, we’ll head to the park office for a briefing before heading into the forest of Mgahinga. Thereafter, the rangers will lead us into the bamboo trails in search of these rare golden monkeys. You might be lucky enough to also see other monkeys such as the black and white colobus, L’hoest monkeys and birds. Once found, the rangers will brief us through the dos and don’ts before making any contact with the golden monkeys. We’ll spend up to 1 hour watching these golden monkeys in their natural habitat. After trekking, we’ll break for lunch and then return to the lodge.

After an early breakfast, we’ll transfer to the airfield for your transfer flight to Entebbe where the safari ends.
